  • 3 lb. side of salmon (skin on)
  • 3 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp minced garlic (1 large clove)
  • 1/3 cup olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cut the salmon crosswise into six equal portions and place skin side down in a baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, and olive oil until well combined.
  3. Reserve about 2 tablespoons of marinade and coat the salmon with the remaining mixture. Let it marinate at room temperature for 10 minutes.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (400°F). Brush the grates with oil.
  5. Grill the salmon skin side down for about four minutes, then carefully flip and cook for another four minutes or until desired doneness.
