Ingredients
- 1 cup apple cider
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 chai tea bags (or 2 teaspoons loose chai tea)
- 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
- 1–2 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
- ground cinnamon, cinnamon stick, or apple slice (optional)
Instructions
- In a small pot, combine the apple cider and water. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
- Add the chai tea bag (or loose tea) to the simmering cider mixture and steep for 3-5 minutes. Remove the tea bag or strain out the loose tea.
- Pour in the milk and add sweetener if desired. Heat gently until warmed through without boiling.
- Serve the Apple Chai Latte in mugs, garnishing with ground cinnamon, a cinnamon stick, or an apple slice as desired.
