- 4 ripe pears, halved and cored
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- ½ cup mixed fresh berries (blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries)
- ½ cup chopped walnuts
- ¼ cup crumbled blue cheese
- 2 tablespoons honey
- Fresh thyme sprigs (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Halve and core the pears, placing them cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet. Brush each pear half with melted butter.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until tender but still holding shape.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle mixed berries evenly over each pear half, followed by crumbled blue cheese.
- Top with chopped walnuts and drizzle honey generously over everything.
- Garnish with fresh thyme if desired and serve warm or at room temperature.
