  • 2 Tablespoon cake flour
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 Tablespoons unsalted butter (melted and cooled)
  • 2 1/2 Tablespoon milk

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, cream together unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together cake flour, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients until combined.
  3. Chill dough for 1 hour.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare baking sheets with parchment paper.
  5. Prepare filling by mixing softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and cake flour until smooth.
  6. Form the cookies by placing filling in the center of dough pieces and sealing them closed before shaping into balls.
