Ingredients
- 1 lb steak tips (sirloin or ribeye)
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 10 oz rigatoni pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season steak tips with Cajun seasoning. In a skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter over medium-high heat. Sear steak until browned all over; set aside.
- Boil salted water in a large pot, cook rigatoni until al dente, then drain while reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
- In the same skillet, melt remaining butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add heavy cream and let simmer gently.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted; season with salt, pepper, and more Cajun seasoning as desired.
- Toss cooked rigatoni into the sauce, adding reserved pasta water for consistency. Gently fold in seared steak tips.
- Serve garnished with extra Parmesan cheese and cracked black pepper.
