Ingredients
- 24 oz fresh green beans
- 8 slices turkey bacon
- 2 Tbsp melted butter
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp honey
- 3 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp dried thyme
Instructions
- Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Chop it into bits and set aside.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, honey, soy sauce, garlic powder, paprika, thyme, and onion powder until well combined.
- Place the fresh green beans in a baking dish. Pour the sauce mixture over the beans and add the chopped turkey bacon. Mix gently to coat evenly.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until the beans reach your desired tenderness, stirring once or twice during baking for even cooking.
- Serve warm with extra sauce drizzled on top.
