- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 3 tablespoons taco seasoning
- 2/3 cup heavy whipping cream
- 4 large eggs
- 1/3 cup chunky salsa
- 1 1/4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9-inch pie pan.
- Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat; drain excess grease.
- Stir taco seasoning into cooked beef and transfer to pie pan.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together heavy cream and eggs until smooth; mix in salsa, cheese, garlic salt, and pepper.
- Pour egg mixture over the beef and top with remaining cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes until set and golden brown.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
