Ingredients
- 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
- 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
- 3 large eggs
- 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 13×9 inch baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, and salt; mix until smooth.
- Pour the pumpkin mixture into the baking dish and evenly sprinkle the yellow cake mix on top.
- Add chopped pecans over the cake mix and drizzle melted butter across the surface.
- Bake for 50-55 minutes until golden brown and set; check doneness with a toothpick.
- Allow to cool completely before serving with Cool Whip.
