- ¾ cup pumpkin puree
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1 large egg
- 1 can (8 count) biscuits (homestyle or buttermilk)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease an 8×4 or 9×5 loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, ¼ cup sugar, vanilla extract, pumpkin pie spice, and egg.
- Slice each biscuit in half horizontally and mix the remaining sugar with cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Coat each biscuit half with the cinnamon-sugar mixture and layer them with the pumpkin mixture in the prepared pan.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- While cooling, whisk together powdered sugar, cinnamon, and milk to make the glaze.
- Drizzle over the cooled loaf before serving.
