- 1 cup creamy natural almond butter
- ½ cup packed brown sugar (or coconut sugar)
- ¼ cup pure maple syrup
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil
- ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond butter, brown sugar, maple syrup, and eggs until smooth. Mix in melted coconut oil.
- Stir in cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 15-20 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean with a few moist crumbs.
- Let cool for at least 20 minutes before slicing into squares.
