- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips or preferred mix-ins
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter, Greek yogurt, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (2-3 minutes).
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing on low speed until fully combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, folding gently until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips or your choice of mix-ins.
- (Optional) Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes if desired for a firmer texture.
- To bake: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden.
