  • 1 3.4 oz box instant pudding mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup frosting
  • Candy melts for dipping
  • Fun toppings like sprinkles or candy eyes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a 13 x 9 inch pan with vegetable spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Beat for about 2 minutes until smooth.
  3. Pour batter into the pan and bake for 30-40 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  4. Once cool, crumble the cake into fine pieces in a large bowl and fold in the frosting until well combined.
  5. Roll mixture into balls approximately one inch in diameter and chill on parchment-lined baking sheets for at least two hours.
  6. Melt candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl at half power in intervals of 30 seconds until smooth.
  7. Dip one end of each stick into melted candy before inserting it into each chilled cake ball; let set.
  8. Dip each cake pop into melted candy melts and decorate with sprinkles or other toppings while still warm.
