Ingredients
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup Hershey's Special Dark cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- 2 large eggs
- ⅓ cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 8 oz cream cheese (at room temp)
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- orange food coloring
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8 x 8 baking dish with parchment paper or foil.
- In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, eggs, oil, and vanilla extract until well blended.
- In another bowl, mix the cream cheese with sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and food coloring until smooth.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared dish. Add dollops of the cream cheese mixture on top and swirl lightly with a knife.
- Pour the remaining brownie batter over the cream cheese layer and swirl again.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
