Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons red apple vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine honey, olive oil, red apple vinegar, minced garlic, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Whisk until blended.
- Place chicken breasts in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour marinade over them. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (preferably up to 4 hours).
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Remove chicken from marinade and place in a baking dish.
- Spoon crumbled feta evenly over each chicken breast.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and feta is golden.
- Let rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
