  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the vanilla cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs until smooth.
  3. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan.
  4. In another bowl, combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until creamy; spread over the batter in the pan.
  5. Spoon remaining batter on top and drizzle cocoa powder mixed with milk over it.
  6. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool completely before serving.
