Ingredients
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 ½ pounds boneless skinless chicken breast
- 4 slices cooked turkey bacon
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 teaspoons garlic (minced)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- ¾ teaspoon dried chives
- ¾ teaspoon dried dill weed
- ¾ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese (grated)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Blanch broccoli in boiling water for 5 minutes; drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, season chicken with garlic and herbs.
- Sauté chicken in olive oil until cooked through (6-8 minutes). Add minced garlic for the last 30 seconds.
- Combine blanched broccoli and sautéed chicken in a greased casserole dish.
- In the same skillet, whisk heavy cream over medium heat until warmed; add cheeses and stir until melted.
- Pour cheese mixture over the chicken and broccoli, mix gently to combine.
- Top with remaining cheese and crumbled turkey bacon.
- Bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
