Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add honey, egg, and vanilla; mix until combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and dried lavender. Gradually combine dry ingredients with the wet mixture to form dough.
- If desired, fold in chopped nuts for extra crunch.
- On a parchment-lined baking sheet, form rounded balls of dough about one inch apart.
- Sprinkle tops with granulated sugar and dried lavender before baking.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown; cool on a wire rack.
