Ingredients
- 1 stick (8 tablespoons) salted butter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 cup milk
- 5–6 ripe peaches (cut into wedges)
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F and melt the butter in a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, 3/4 cup brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Stir in milk and vanilla until just mixed.
- Toss peach wedges with remaining brown sugar and maple syrup.
- Layer half the peaches over melted butter, pour batter on top without stirring, then layer remaining peaches.
- Bake for 50-55 minutes until golden brown and set in the center.
- For the drizzle, combine butter and maple syrup in a small pan; boil for two minutes before serving.
