- 1 2/3 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup plain pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup softened unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf or round cake pan.
- In one bowl, mix the flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and mix well.
- Stir in the pumpkin puree and vanilla until combined.
- Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just mixed.
- Add warm milk and stir until smooth.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 50-55 minutes (45-50 minutes for round pan), checking doneness with a toothpick.
- Cool in the pan for 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
