Instructions

  2. In one bowl, mix the flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and mix well.
  4. Stir in the pumpkin puree and vanilla until combined.
  5. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just mixed.
  6. Add warm milk and stir until smooth.
  7. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 50-55 minutes (45-50 minutes for round pan), checking doneness with a toothpick.
