- 1 sheet Puff Pastry
- 1 cup Canned Pumpkin Puree
- 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon Ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon Ground Cloves
- 1 beaten Egg (for brushing)
- Powdered Sugar (optional topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface or unfold pre-rolled pastry onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- In a mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and ground cloves. Mix until well combined.
- Cut the pastry into rectangles or squares; place a spoonful of filling in the center of each piece. Fold over to create triangles or twist as desired. Brush tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for approximately 20 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow cooling slightly before dusting with powdered sugar if desired.
