Ingredients
- 12 large fresh mushrooms
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth and remove their stems.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, green onions, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
- Spoon the filling into each mushroom cap generously.
- Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Drizzle olive oil over the tops of the mushrooms for added flavor.
- Bake in the oven for 20 minutes until the mushrooms are tender and tops are golden.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
