- 8 oz fettuccine or spaghetti
- 12 oz sirloin or ribeye steak
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- Fresh parsley or basil for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak with salt and pepper, sear for 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Reduce heat, add minced garlic and honey to the skillet; cook until fragrant.
- Pour in soy sauce and red pepper flakes; simmer for 2 minutes.
- Combine cooked pasta with steak and sauce in the skillet, tossing until coated.
- Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
